MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL FRACKELTON
At Soundview we keep our children safe from bullying and harassment through a mentoring program that pairs each scholar with a dedicated teacher-mentor committed to their social-emotional and spiritual development, the pre-condition of superior academic performance.
Our scholars and their families appreciate our dedicated mentors and tireless social work staff, who spare no effort in squashing whatever incident or obstacle comes our scholars' way. We believe there should be no excuse for not excelling at the middle school level, but we know it takes courage and commitment to deliver a truly safe and respectful school environment. We go that extra mile each and every day.
So, welcome to Soundview Academy!
I hope to see you soon... so you can witness for yourself our secret recipe for success!
William Frackelton, Founding Principal
Adolescence is both a gift and a challenge. The middle years are ones of extremes: the deepening of voices and lengthening of limbs, the onset of independence and resistance to adult authority, a growing capacity for complex thought and activity, and increasing hobbies and interests. Adolescence provides a unique opportunity to create an environment that responds to the particular needs of this age.
